The Axial Wraith Spawn is pumped full with upgraded performance features. This full sized version Wraith contains many of the components that originally made this vehicle famous. The practically bulletproof AR60 OCP axles are prepared to drive the Spawn through its paces whether stomping its way through the toughest rock trails or flying through the wide open desert. The Ripsaw 2.2 tires are a proven true grip standard, wrapped around industry proven Method IFD beadlock wheels. Whether you are rock racing or just backyard bashing, the Wraith Spawn is ready for all that you can throw its way.
The design team at Axial brought a classic feel to a modern look with the Wraith Spawn 1/10th Scale Electric 4WD Rock Racer. Combining Axials favorite trucks and SUV's from the late 70s and early 80s. They studied the one of a kind styling cues and the result was the out of this world Wraith Spawn.
There is no lying when it comes to its 4 wheel drive locked differentials, the improved the traction and with the offset pumpkin design they can clear more ground with a better driveshaft angle. In addition they have shaved the rear axle of any unnecessary items that usually weighs you down, giving you more ground clearance then ever before. Made of durable composite materials the axle has a low flex rate but isn't as brittle as the standard glass filled nylon. The tubes are supported with a boxed in axle truss to distribute the stress over a larger area.The mixture of our axles and a true 4-link suspension gives you the best performance for any terrain with the look of a real scale vehicle. A locked differential gives the most wheel traction in all off road conditions and environments and requires very little maintenance over oil-filled or silicone based differentials. Simply remove four screws to achieve access to rebuild and tune up.
